Ingredients - Sauce:

33cl Beer
66cl Water
1 tbsp Cornstarch
 1 tbsp Butter
1 Garlic Clove
 1 tbsp Port Wine (or Whisky)
½ Squeezed Lemon Juice
 5 tbsp Tomato Pulp
Chili
Salt

Recipe:

Sauce:
1. In a saucepan, brown the garlic clove with a tablespoon of butter.

2. Then add the beer and water, covering the pot until it boils.

3. Remove a cup of the hot sauce to undo the cornstarch and add it to the sauce, again.

4. Add the Port Wine, the lemon juice, the tomato pulp, the salt, and the chili to taste (spicy 😍).

5. Let it boil until it thickens.

Francesinha:
1. In a frying pan, place olive oil to do the steaks for about 8-10min.

2. Cut the potatoes into sticks and fry in hot oil.

3. Then, on a baking tray, place the first slice of bread, then the steak, covered with two slices of ham, two slices of chorizo, and two sausages cut in half.

4. Place another slice of bread and a fried egg on top. At the end of the assembly, cover everything very well with sliced cheese, try choosing a cheese that melts very well, and that you love to eat!

5. Place the Francesinhas in the oven to melt the cheese at 180 Celsius degrees | 356 Fahrenheit degrees, for about 15min.

6. Serve everything in a deep dish with plenty of sauce and fried potatoes.
