Chocolate Marble Cake Recipe

There is no cake more beautiful than the slice of a Marble Cake! A design that never looks the same, unique every time it is cooked!

It's fun to make and even funnier to look at! And every bite is a mix of flavors! Very nice to drink on a rainy afternoon with tea!

Chocolate Marble Cake - The2Planners


500g Granulated Sugar
500g Flour
6 Eggs
1 Cup Milk
1 tsp Baking Powder
50g Chocolate Powder
150g Butter
Butter to Grease


1. Turn on the oven at 180 Celsius degrees | 356 Fahrenheit degrees.

2. Separate the egg yolks from the whites and whisk the egg whites.

3. Mix the sugar with the butter, at room temperature, and then add the egg yolks until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

4. Add milk, flour, and baking powder to the mixture. Once well wrapped, add the egg whites very gently.

5. Divide the cake mixture into two bowls and add chocolate powder to one of them and stir well to break up chocolate lumps.

6. Butter a circular shape pan with a hole in the center and distribute the two doughs irregularly, after placing the dough you can mix then nicely with a toothpick to create a marble-like texture inside.

7. Bake in the oven for 40min or until the toothpick comes out dry, without any evidence of cake to be baked.
