Chinese Mango Pudim Recipe

This recipe is part of a Chinese three-course dinner, for a special and different night!

Every good dinner has to end with a nice dessert, since the dinner had a lot of flavors we decide to make a fresh and kind of sweet dessert, to balance the entire meal! Hope you enjoyed the recipes as much as we did!

Appetizer - Chinese Dumplings - Gyoza

Main Dish - Chinese Almond Chicken with Yangzhou Fried Rice

Dessert - Chinese Mango Pudim

 300mL Mango Pulp
 1 Cup Mango Cubes
 2 tsp Neutral Gelatin
 100mL Cold Water
 100mL Warm Water (NOT HOT)
⅓ Cup Coconut Milk
⅓ Cup Coconut Milk to Garnish
Lemon or Honey to balance

1. First, we have to hydrate the gelatin, put it in a glass with 100mL of cold water for 10min.

2. In a pan add the mango pulp and let it boil for 2min.

3. In the glass of hydrated gelatin add 100mL of warm water to dissolve it, be careful, the water cannot be very hot, or it will deactivate the properties of the gelatin.

4. Add the gelatin to the mango pulp, add coconut milk and the mango cubes.

5. Before dividing into cups or bowls, taste it and add lemon or honey to balance the sweetness of the mango, and let it sit on the fridge for at least 4 hours. Then you can garnish it with coconut milk and let it rest for another 20min on the fridge before "service". 😂
