Basic Fresh Basil Pesto Recipe

If you have plenty of basil leaves in your garden, this is a basic recipe to do an amazing Pesto!


This recipe can be saved in the fridge for up to 6 months, so its a great way to store your basil, this way it won't get ruin in the garden! I always like to have some pesto in the house! You can do lots of things with it, some salad, pasta or even pastries! Let's give it a try!

Basic Fresh Basil Pesto - The2Planners


80g Peanuts (½ Cup) - or any kind of nuts that you enjoy
 34g Basil Leaves (2 Cups)
 1 Clove of Garlic
 60mL Olive Oil (¼ Cup)
 70g Pecorino or Parmigiano cheese (1 Cup)


1. In a food processor place the peanuts and basil leaves.

2. Then, add olive oil, garlic, and cheese.

3. Taste it and add salt if you like.
